  • Many having trouble registering

Several members are complaining they cannot get registered.

    Here are a few complaints:

"I cannot type what appears "in the box on the right" during the registration process because no box appears. When I mouse over it,the words "registration image" appear. Please help--I would like to register at your website."

"Every time i hit the proceed button it tells me to hit a month theres no months there Help!!! i wanna register"

Have you tried registering? Can you duplicate this problem? If not, what browsers are these people using?

      Steve,

Yes, I just tried to register and the same thing is happening. I use IE 6.0
No image shows up to use for verification purposes.

Also, I do not know if it is related, but when I add a child forum and use the "Forum Link" method Forum Link (Entering a URL here will cause anyone clicking the forum link to be redirected to that URL)

to the left of the url there is an error showing a missing image:
      http://www.yes-its-free.com/forums/i...forum_link.gif

I looked in the original directory and there was no such image to ever be uploaded

The verification image is not showing up for me when trying to register on your board. Have you checked that the GD version matcher your settings in admincp?

I just asked my host to install GD modules.

After that is done, what do I set in the Admin panel?

I see GD Version but does the "Public PHPinfo" have anything to do with this?

look for the GD version your host is using.

enabling this will let members add "do=phpinfo" to a link to see your phpinfo, like the admincp phpinfo:

                http://www.site.com/admincp/index.php?do=phpinfo

It allows us to see your phpinfo for troubleshooting problems.
