A few days ago, I started a thread about problems when users change their email address and then their User Title still shows "Registered User" under their posts while they are "Awaiting Email Confirmation".
Well, the response I received said to just change the User Titles for the user group "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation". So I made it easy and gave them the user title of "Awaiting Email Confirmation".
Ok, that seemed to work until I noticed something terribly wrong with this. This might be a possible bug.
Once these users' emails have been confirmed and they become registered users, their user titles still show them as "Awaiting Email Confirmation" in the member list.
Now I have to either change that user title back again to "registered user" or something else which will put me right back to square one with the original problem. OR I have to manually go into user group manager and edit every one of these members' user titles back to "registered user" after their email has been confirmed.
Something is not right here.
Why isn't their user title changing to "registered user" once their email has been confirmed and they are moved into the registered user group?
