  • how do I post images using a link?

can I do this? Right now I guess it uploads image to my server and then posts it, however can I call the images with a link? I'd like people's images to be called from their server to save myself some space. i have a forum where people posts a lot of pics

    thanks

      re:

how do i enable vb code so that when someone hits reply? the most commonly used codes are displayed.

i just saw a guys board where if you want to post an image, you just click on IMG and then a prompt comes up asking you to enter the url of image? he has buttons for a lot of te bb codes. you just click on button then a prompt comes up on the top part of the screen asking you to enter your link , etc.

      i have version 3 BETA 5
the guy i saw with this feature is using version 2.3.0

      thanks.

        vB3

UCP -> Options -> Other Options:

Use vBCode quick links on your message input screens? =

        Show Standard Toolbar

        or

How can we make an img as a link?

Meaning, if you click on the img, it takes you to the URL.

              [*url=http://www.site.com][*img]http://www.site.com/image.gif[/img*][*/url]

              remove all the *s.
