    whats the exact mysql error?

The onyl error you'd be getting is that the HEAP table size is being exceeded if it was sessions not being cleared out.

If its max connections then its most likely another script with pconnect on.

PHP is responsible for closing all connections. It may in fact be another script running on your site / server that is causing the problems.

    No.
I have 1,036 records in the session table right now and I know there are only about 250 users on right now.

1040 database connection error. It is like the database is not clearing inactive users and it builds up to the point that it will not allow new connections.

Database Trouble Since Upgrade to 3

It seems like I am having all kinds of database connection errors since I upgraded. I have made sure that the $usepconnect =0; is correct as some have said here but still having trouble. I can not seem to keep the board up. What are some options to look at?
