    I just upgraded my vb from 2.3 to 3.0 last night. I've been looking around in my cp and I just don't see how to move my $loggedinusers, $birthdays, $pm whatevers to show at the top of the forum, above my $forumbits.

    How do I do it???

    In your FORUMHOME template, you are looking for the following code:
    Code:
    <if condition="$showloggedinusers or $birthdays or $events">
    <!-- what's going on box -->
    <table cellpadding="$stylevar[outerborderwidth]" cellspacing="0" border="0" class="tborder" width="$stylevar[tablewidth]" align="center"><tr><td>
    <table cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%">
    <tr>
     <td class="tcat" colspan="2"><b>What's Going On?</b></td>
    </tr>
    <if condition="$showloggedinusers">
    <!-- logged-in users -->
    <tr>
     <td class="thead" colspan="2"><a href="online.php?$session[sessionurl]">Currently Active Users</a>: $totalonline ($numberregistered members and $numberguest guests)</td>
    </tr>
    <tr valign="top">
     <td class="alt2"><a href="online.php?$session[sessionurl]"><img src="$stylevar[imagesfolder]/icons/icon2.gif" alt="" title="(temporary button) View Who's Online" border="0" /></a></td>
     <td class="alt1" width="100%"><span class="smallfont">
      <span style="white-space: nowrap">Most users ever online was $recordusers, $recorddate at $recordtime.</span><br />
      $activeusers
     </span></td>
    </tr>
    <!-- end logged-in users -->
    </if>
    <if condition="$birthdays">
    <!-- today's birthdays -->
    <tr>
     <td class="thead" colspan="2">Today's Birthdays</td>
    </tr>
    <tr valign="top">
     <td class="alt2"><a href="calendar.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getday&amp;day=$today"><img src="$stylevar[imagesfolder]/icons/icon2.gif" alt="" title="(temporary button) View Birthdays" border="0" /></a></td>
     <td class="alt1"><span class="smallfont">$birthdays</span></td>
    </tr>
    <!-- end today's birthdays -->
    </if>
    <if condition="$events">
    <tr>
     <td class="thead" colspan="2"><if condition="$vboptions['showevents']==1">Today's Events<else />Upcoming events for the next $vboptions[showevents] days</if></td>
    </tr>
    <tr valign="top">
     <td class="alt2"><a href="calendar.php?$session[sessionurl]do=getday&amp;day=$today"><img src="$stylevar[imagesfolder]/icons/icon2.gif" alt="" title="(temporary button) View Events" border="0" /></a></td>
     <td class="alt1"><span class="smallfont">$upcomingevents</span></td>
    </tr>
    </if>
    </table>
    </td></tr></table>
    <br />
    <!-- end what's going on box -->
    </if>
    The above code is for WOL, Events and Birthdays; just move it up in the template to your desired location.

        ok, well nevermind. it moved it - yes. but it offsets the rest of the page. the best i could get it left a big empty box to the right of the loggedinusers.

          seangworld,

          If you want it something similar to mine, let me know and I'll send you the forumhome template to customise for yourself. It might help you to correct your own.

            You do know that your Currently Active Users doesn't show anything on Mozilla based browsers under Linux. I would hazard a guess that it doesn't work on any OS in Mozilla based browsers.

                You should probally ask in the vBulletin 2 forum

                there are a set of varibles at the bottom of the FORUMHOME template you would need to move to the top.

                  Oops, I guess that's what happens when I do a general search.
