How do I disable Server too Busy Message

I'm averaging 40 people online when normally it's around 200. And throughout the last few days this message "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later." is absolutely destroying my forums. I need to disable those features completely so I can get my customers in otherwise I'm going to have to shut down my forums. Does anyone have any advise on how I can shut down the Server too Busy message so 100% reguardless users can get in?

Find this line in global.php:

if (!$servertoobusy OR THIS_SCRIPT == 'login')

Add this above it:

$servertoobusy = 0;

Now login to the control panel and turn the *NIX load limiter option to 0. You can now undo this change.

I need to completely disable this but how?

By the way I edited the line as requested in global.php and it still didn't let me login to my ACP because it stopped me at login.php

Change it to something ridiculously large, like 100000000, and see what happens.

I think I saw another thread of yours about this where someone gave you a query to change the setting. This only changed the setting, not what was actually being used (we cache the settings). You'd need to submit the options page to change the cache.

That line should fix your problem, but you can always remove this line in the same file as well:

 eval(print_standard_error('error_toobusy'));

I noticed, so i wrote a small php script that would run the build_options() function, which either didnt work or he didnt run it
