The buttons in the wysiwyg editor use images and therefore wouldn't be affected by changes to the CSS. You would need to repaint the button images in line with the style you want to use.

He isnt using the WYSIWYG interface.

Okay I have created a darker style for vB3, and for some reason my bbcode buttons aren't very visable. Is there a way to change this? I am including a screen shot so people can see what I am talking about. Thanks for any help that can be given.

Looks like you need to modify something inside the "newpost_messagearea_standard" template.

Posibly the clientscript/vbcode.js script too.

Maybe I'm wrong, but shouldn't you be editing the graphics in the /wysiwyg folder and re-uploading them? I think they're used whether wysiwyg is on or off. Let me confirm.

Yes, I just confirmed that both the WYSIWYG and regular toolbars depend on the graphics in \wysiwyg, so if you want something other than black, it's time to whip out Paint Shop Pro and change the colors of those images. Should take 5 min.
