      do I need to turn debug on to see that link?

      I looked in the admin/index.php and it mentions something about it being in debug

          I commented out the if debug stuff and it shows up for me now.

          that'll teach me to not look hard in the scripts huh

                  i removed this line and added my userid to config.php3 and it still doesnt show the admin permissions....why?? can someone please help me. thanks

                    Go back and reread the instructions for the fix. The part to be removed involved the $debug check and subsequent closing brace.
