How would this be handled under the license agreement with vB3's table prefixing

Mr X wants to run 'x' number of forums on 1 domain.
He purchases 1 license and installs 1 instance of vB's files on 1 server.
The db has 'x' number of each table suitably prifixed.
To access each of the 'x' forums, a variable is passed along with the URL to select which prefix should be used.
Is Mr X in breach of the license agreemet?

I don't believe that set up will be fine legally. There is a system simular to this with vb2 running right now - sorry don't remember URL of top of my head.

But to be sure you can email [email protected]

Each set of tables would require its own license.

        That would be sensible.
Will the license agreement be amended to reflect this?
How about customers who purchased before this was added?
Will they be deemed to be in acceptance of the current license agreement or whatever wording was in effect at the time of download.
Of course, downloading updates signifies acceptance of the latest wording.

The license agreement doesn't need to be amended to reflect it... The license agreement allows one installation of vBulletin. An installation includes one set of database tables. No more, no less.

More then 1, needs more licenses. Kind of obvious.
