  • Putting PayPal Link in Forum - Possible?

    Sorry about all the 'p's!

    I've run my Vbull site for about two and a half years or so and havn't wanted to subsidise it through ads and so forth. But now I'm finding the next big payment for web services coming up and I'd like to ask my members for a subscription payment to help me.

    Can I put a PayPal icon/link etc. on my forum and if so could anyone please tell me how to do it?

    The help here is amazing btw...

    Thank you!

    You can make your own link and a php power page with paypal. You can do a username search of my name here in this forum and you will find some old tutorial or some sort I did two(2) years ago.

        I'm afraid I didn't find your tutorial Jose. I'll make another attempt later.

        I did find some code on the web however. I was wondering if this looks right you?

        Add PayPal Donate button to Vbulletin forum

        Here are some code to edit in navbar template, If you want paypal button in navbar.
        You can edit it in navbar template.

        <td class=”alt1″ width=”100%”>
        <if condition=”is_array($navbits)”>
        <table cellpadding=”0″ cellspacing=”0″ border=”0″>
        <tr valign=”bottom”>
        <td><a href=”#” onclick=”history.back(1); return false;”><img src=”$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/navbits_start.gif” alt=”$vbphrase[go_back]” border=”0″ /></a></td>

          I believe this may be the thread you meant Jose. Your tutorial link is in there:

          Paypal donations button

          It looks tricky and some of your instructions seem to be for upgrades above mine (Version 3.0.8)

          Should I be okay using the code given though...?
