  • Can Post Counts Be Transferred?

We banned someone awhile ago, who had almost 20,000 posts. Recently we let him back on board. His old account had so many inappropriate posts, we simply banned the account and sent him to Coventry rather than try to find all the posts to remove. Anyway, we let him back under a new user account, and is there any way to rollover the post count from his previous user account to his new user account? Thanks!

If the banned username still exist, then why not just merge both into one. You are not going to find any successful way of faking his post count and queries are just a temporary measure that may or may not do harm to your database.

20,000 post are not alot to filter though, it will take 4 people less then 7 days to review that one member(s) threads/post.

We opted not to do that, he's stuck with being a new account.
