  • Database problem

I was preparing for upgrading to 3.6 from 3.0, so I used phpMyAdmin for backing up the database.

    http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/m...myadmin_backup

I just followed the guidelines and saved the file to my local harddrive.

    Now I can't open the forum. I get a:

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.
An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.
    We apologise for any inconvenience.

    What happened???

    Thanks,
    Edwin

Database error in vBulletin :Link-ID == false, connect failedmysql error: mysql error number: 0

This means the details in config.php are incorrect. Check with your hosting provider what the mysql details should be.
