  • Server transfer nightmare

    Hello

I run a 3.0.7 forum, and my webhost recently changed servers, and important files and folders were lost.

I purchased this site just a few months ago, so I am not familiar with where to find everything.

One of the folders was the modules folder, which had the news.php file that i ran on my main page.

I have also noticed when I am in the admin section, that I have to re-login every time I click something. This happens on multiple computers so I know its not a cookie or security issue.

I am new to vbulletin so any help would be appreciated.

I am willing to pay someone to work on it if necessary.

    Thanks

    rapfx

The modules are from third party addons, probably vBAdvanced, so you'd have to ask for help there.

As for the login problem, try reuploading all the default vBulletin non-image files in ASCII mode, overwriting your current files. Also, turn off plugins globally in your vBulletin Options. Does this problem still occur then?

Oh 3.0.7 you have no plugin options.

Did you try reuploading the original vBulletin files?

when i got to the http://www.mydomain.com/install/upgrade.php

it just takes me to the admin login...

when i try to login.. it gives me this error

and this is the vbulletin message

You did not upload all the 3.5.4 files.

yes that was the problem.. okay, that is fixed..

however, I am still having the original problem. Every time I click something while In Admin, it takes me back to the login screen.

                        any other ideas>
