  • Warning: Cannot use a scalar value as an array in /search.php on line 1690

    I'm getting this error when I know there are NO "new posts" since my last visit, but I hit the NEW POSTS link anyway in the navbar

    Which version of vB? Have you installed any hacks or modified the vB files?

      I have vB 3.0.12 installed. I do have a few hacks installed. But I have just downloaded vB 3.0.12 again and uploaded a clean copy of the search.php file to see if it was that file.

      With the clean search.php file uploaded it now gives that same error, but on line 1689 and not 1690

      Thing is if there are new posts since last visit it works fine, it only does this whenb there are no new posts since last visit and you click the link

        I think I know what the problem is, I'll report back after I make this change in a hack that added code to the global.php file

          Line 1689:
          $lastread["$forumid"] = $bbforumview;

          I have no idea why you would be getting this error and I cannot duplicate this on my unhacked 3.0.12 test forum.

          The next step is to reupload the original vB files and see if you still have this problem.
