Post Count Restrictions

Ok i am not sure if this was asked before, so here goes... I am having problems with new members signing up to my forum.. Just to get access to certain areas.. So is there away restrict new members access to those area's after a pre-determined number of quality posts.. So could someone please tell me how i would be able to implement this in my forum..

Yes, you can use the Promotions system via:

AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Promotion

Adjust the settings to your liking. Usergroup should be Register Users, and "Move User to Usergroup" should be set to the usergroup who has permission to view the forums.

You can alter permission in the Usergroup Manager.

Ok thanx but i am kinda not familar with that promotion.. Can you please explain a little more what i am suppose to do cuz u can say i am novice and still learning this forum
