Hi can somebody tell me how i can fix this error please, my members keep getting IE crashing on them, i dont want to upgrade the whole thing just need a patch or something, if somebody could kindly help, thanks!

hi in regards to my IE keeps crashing, its not 100% of the time, its like 30% of the time, esp when you try replying or try quoting people and post.

No problems for me with IE. You do have a lot of modifications installed so my guess is that some of your users browsers are crashing because of these mods.
Try this. Create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Then ask these users to change to this style and view your forums with it. Do they have the same problem?Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

Hi sorry to bump topic but my IE keeps crashing, and i did what u told me to Steve i jsut tried it now, basically it 100% crashes if anybody replies quoting someone else, if you like i can give u my test account and u can try it out and see that IE crashes..., i remember i read somewhere with the vb updates that there was a bug with vb 3.0.8 and that IE crashes and heard there was a patch somewhere, i think it was Kier who mentioned it, if you could kindly check for me please beause its really a pain loosing it all when youve written a big page. If you could kindly help thanks!!
But strangely on Firefox it works fine, no glitches and no trouble, it posts fine, its just IE, and its not only me it happens to others too. But in firefox sometimes u cant see the skin properly and the images right..., thats why we use IE.
