I want to know how they made this... I am thinking their MB is vbulletin... and their gallery is photopost... but what else are they using?

The gallery resembles photopost but most galleries look alike now adays.

It'd take a lot of work to get vB to do the myplace thing.. if not writing a whole script.

well, I love vbgallery... and I love the idea of attaching blogs like that to my site.. so there is no way I could get something to do that without writing a whole script
