Edited post not updated if quoted.

i did a search, but didnt find anything about this. if a post is edited,anyone who has quoted the post prior to editing,the quote doesnt update to the edited version. is this normal? changable or different in version 3.5.x ? since i will be upgrading soon. im running 3.0.9 now.

Most of the times admins are exempt from this rule, and also, most of the time there is a slight ammount of time you have untill the edited by will display (2-5 min).

The quotes are not dynamic and do not update in the original post is changed.

Yes. Quotes have never been dynamic in vB.
