I've noticed if you make a category that contains a load of forum boards in the forum permissions menu so Guest cannot view threads on the forum boards in that category.
Rather than it display the thread and post count numbers on the boards stats, instead it shows "0" Threads and "0" Post counts as well as not give them access. Making Guest feel as though there is nothing posted there on them boards to be viewed anyway. Giving them no incentive to join as though there not missing something they don't have access to read.
Is there anything in the options where this can be changed so it shows the Thread and Post count numbers so they know there are threads on them boards, but not give them access to view them. Because the way it is now. A guest would simply think all them boards contain no threads or posts at all due to the "0" thread/post numbers.
I would much prefer it show the thread/posts counts so they know there is content there but can't view it until they log-on.
