Error in admincp

Hey,
Getting this error in the admincp but I don't think any code has been changed.

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $, expecting ')' in /home/ladys/public_html/forum/includes/adminfunctions_template.php on line 2831

Can anyone help with this please?
It happens when I try to add a forum.

Which version are you running? Have you reuploaded the original includes/adminfunctions_template.php file?
