It looks like my forum is back up, but I'm wondering, what might had caused the forum to shut down for a short time, and how can it be prevented?

      This is a server error:

      -bash:~/txt$ perror 12
System error: 12 = Cannot allocate memory

        Thanks a lot.

I think I figured out that this problem was with the server or with the MySql database when my non-vBulletin forum went down as well.

Well, it's time to send a support ticket to my web host and see what the problem is

Do you know what might be causing this? Me and my web host are going in circles on what the problem is. It's been almost a week and has not been fixed. Now I'm at the end of my patience.

No sorry, I don't. I'm not a server guru. I suspect you can find a lot of info on this error with a Google search.

Thanks a lot. A google search didn't come to much of a result, but it seems like (just by the error message) that it could may be a RAM problem?
