    Currently Active Users: 53 (36 members and 17 guests)

    why do i see 17 guests...even though i set "no forum view" for unregistered/guests usergroup.

    Guests can still try to visit, doesn't mean they are going to see anything.

    Do you have any ads? do your members or you use toolbars like google or msn?

      yes got google adsense on forum top.....

      well when i check whoz online i can see 70% guests on index page (prob means they cant login) but some memebrs i can see browsing threads.

        Do they have a red stopsign beside their location? That means they aren't seeing anything except the login screen/no permission screen.

          If guests can't see the forum, but you have adsesnse ads (which requires a google adsense spider which is a guest to deliver content) thats why you are seeing those users trying to gain access.
