  • automated "user title" change based on 2ndary usergroup HELP!

This might be a DUMB question but it driving me crazy! Can someone please tell me how i can do this...

I want to have the user titles automatically added (or removed) from anyone who I manually add to a secondary usergroup.

    I did this....

Addded a usergroup called "VENDOR" with "VENDOR" in the user title field.

Selected a few users and checked "VENDOR" as their secondary usergroup.

Checked/YES: Can override primary group title/markup

automated "user title" change NO (i don't allow any custom user titles or even ranks)

user title is blank still. I even ran the "Update User Titles" from admin. All help appreciated but i want to AUTOMATE this exactly as outlined in bold for organizational purposes if possible! THANKS!

You should try vBulletin.org. I've seen this hack there, don't have a link for you though. Just search around.

FYI - here is the code i added to get this working (as it should without modification IMHO) where XX is the secondary (or primary) usergroup.
            Code:
            			<if condition="is_member_of($post, XX)"><div class="smallfont"><strong>TITLE-GOES-HERE</strong>
            </div></if>

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
            Working...
