Have turned RSS feeds on per instructions above.

When I try to view them, however, my FFox shows me code as follows:
    Code:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

I suspect this is something I'm missing in my FFox, since I see something similar when I click the demonstration links above too. What am I missing, either in my FFox setup or my vBulletin?

Answering my own question, after digging around on the Mozilla support board.

      In Firefox:
Bookmarks | Manage Bookmarks | File | New Live Bookmark
      then enter external.php URL there.

        Individual Threads?

So Here is my RSS feed
        http://forums.firehouse.com/external.php?type=RSS

Can you create feeds for individual threads or categories?

Also its showing RSS 0.91, any way for the newer versions of RSS?

change RSS to RSS2 and add forumids=X for 1 specific forum and X,Y,Z to get multiple forums

              Found it.
For anyone else who has this question:
Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> External Data Provider -> Enable RSS Syndication -> Yes

thanks I was looking for this info but then luckily you posted it for us new-to-vb people. Question though, how come the RSS symbol doesn't appear in the FF browser on the bottom like it dies for this site?

vB 3.5 adds a bit of html to tell Firefox that their is a feed avaible.

You can add this to your headinclude template

                      Code:
                      <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="$vboptions[bbtitle] Forum RSS Feed" href="external.php?type=RSS" />
$vboptions[bbtitle] << might just want to change that, don't remember if thats the real varible or not.
