  • How would make the navbar right under the header, and the same size as header?

    I would basically like to put an image as my header, then connect the navbar to the bottom of this navbar, I have tried to do this through javascript and can't get it to work the way I would like, how would I change it to work this way?

    Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> header

    Remove the red code:

    Code:
    <!-- logo -->
    <a name="top"></a>
    <table border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
    <tr>
    	<td align="$stylevar[left]"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php?$session[sessionurl]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a></td>
    	<td align="$stylevar[right]">
    		&nbsp;
    <!--
      NEW HEADER &amp; NAVBAR

      Now that the nav buttons are in the
      navbar template, you can stick whatever
      you like into this space.

      This makes it much easier for novice
      admins to customize their header
      template without affecting important
      navigation elements.
    -->
    	</td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <!-- /logo -->

    [color=red]<!-- content table -->
    $spacer_open[/color]

    $_phpinclude_output
    Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Navigation / Breadcrumb Templates -> navbar

    At the top, remove the red code:

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    function log_out()
    {
    	ht = document.getElementsByTagName("html");
    	ht[0].style.filter = "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.BasicImage(grayscale=1)";
    	if (confirm('$vbphrase[sure_you_want_to_log_out]'))
    	{
    		return true;
    	}
    	else
    	{
    		ht[0].style.filter = "";
    		return false;
    	}
    }
    //-->
    </script>

    [color=red]<br />[/color]

    <!-- breadcrumb, login, pm info -->
    <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
    <tr>
    ...then add the blue code at the bottom:

    Code:
    		<tr><td class="thead">$vbphrase[miscellaneous]</td></tr>
    		<if condition="$show['pmstats']"><tr><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="private.php?$session[sessionurl]">$vbphrase[private_messages]</a></td></tr></if>
    		<tr><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="subscription.php?$session[sessionurl]">$vbphrase[subscribed_threads]</a></td></tr>
    		<tr><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$bbuserinfo[userid]">$vbphrase[my_profile]</a></td></tr>
    		<if condition="$show['wollink']"><tr><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="online.php?$session[sessionurl]">$vbphrase[whos_online]</a></td></tr></if>

    		</table>
    	</div>
    	<!-- / user cp tools menu -->
    	</if>
    <!-- / NAVBAR POPUP MENUS -->
    </if>

    [color=blue]<!-- content table -->
    $spacer_open[/color]
    That should scoot the navbar up to be flush with the header and bring it out to the same width as the header.

      Would this take the whole navabar up including the signbox? I would like it so basically the navation portion and signon were flipped, so the navagation part would basically look to be a part of the banner, instead on the signon area.
