Right now when a user uploads an attachment(s) they show up as links. My question: Is there a way to show the actually image instead of a link and if not how do I turn on thumbnails. What is the GD that everyone is talking about and what part does that play? I am fairly new to all this so thanks for the help.

Set this to view attached images inline.
Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Message Attachment Options -> View Attached Images Inline -

Jake thanks for the quick response. It worked great I guess my follow up question is: is there a way to have the images deleted after a certain period of time? Or perhaps change to thumbnails after a certain time period ie 60 days?Comment

There is no built-in feature to put those tasks on a time delay. That would be a www.vbulletin.org question.Comment
