  • How to include message in PM email notification?

    I would like the PM email notification to include the message. Possible?

    Thanks,

    I don't know if this will work but you can try adding $pagetext to the pmreceived phrase.

      actually, it works when $message is put, not $pagetext.
      also, to include a message title, it's the $pm[title] code which does it.
      the message sender should be included by adding $pm[username] but for some reason it's not working , but there is a variable used in the original message body that displays sender in the mail, so it can be used again to show sender in the message part of that e-mail, that is the $bbuserinfo[username] code.

      enjoy.

        all this stopped working in 3.5.0 RC1, please give us some instructions on which variables for showing PM text and title in the mail being sent should be included in the pmreceived phrase

          I would like to know the same. $message is no longer working.

            I found it, it changed to:

            Code:
            {$this->pmtext['title']}

            {$this->pmtext['message']}
