Reimport the vbulletin-language.xml file, not the settings one.

    Hi,

    It says:
[Settings] This will take the latest settings from ./install/vbulletin-settings.xml

Will this overwrite any other settings on my forum or just the FAQ pages?

    Thanks,
    ~VegasMack

Once you upload tools.php to your admincp folder, goto

www.yoursite.com/forum/admincp/tools.php and there should be an option where you can reimport the phrases or revert to the default or something like that.

    Hi Steve,

The file vbulletin-language.xml was located in install/.

    I have uploaded both files.

How do I import the FAQ pages now.

    Thanks,

I just handled a support ticket with this exact problem. The issue was that he only uploaded half the vbulletin-language.xml file.

Try this. Reupload the original includes/vbulletin-language.xml files. Make sure you upload it in ASCII and overwrite the one on the server. Then upload the tools.php script in the 'do_not_upload' folder of the vB zip file to your Admin CP directory. Then reimport the vbulletin-language.xml file. Immediately remove tools.php when you are done.

I don't remember deleting them, but is there a way I can upload the files again?

    Thanks,

The FAQ is addded during installation. The only way this would be missing is if someone deleted the FAQs.

    No FAQ Pages?

It is my understanding that vBulletin populates the FAQ.

I can not find where to enable this or turn it on in the Admin CP.

Currently, my FAQ link on my forum takes you to basically a blank page.

I am running html vs. php. Would this have contributed to having no FAQs?

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

    Thanks,

    VegasMack
