  • How can I mass delete effectively deleted posts

    Hi

    my moderators delets alot of posts everyday, put it remains in DB, so I wanna mass delete them, because delete them one by one looks like imposible mision, so is there a way to do that?
    One of highly customized vBCMS used for news site.

      I don't think there is anything to do what you want right now, managing this in 3.5 would be much simpiler, I do believe there may be an addon at vBulletin.org for vBulletin 3.0.x for a deleted threads manager, it gets all of the soft deleted threads and you should be able to view and manage them..

        thanks Zachery but iam talking about soft deleted posts not threads.

          I think it includes posts.. if it doesn't then im not sure..

            A couple of quick queries...
            Code:
            DELETE FROM post
            USING post AS s1, deletionlog AS s2
            WHERE s1.postid = s2.primaryid 
            AND s2.userid = 30
            and...
            Code:
            DELETE FROM deletionlog
            WHERE userid = 30
            
            Change the 30 to the id of the moderator.
            Lats...
