Changing Host Company (Effect on VB) ?

Soon i will be changing to a new webhost company
All that i have been looking at, do support what is needed for me to run my VB on their servers.

What is involved to move my corrent V-Boards to the new host company?
WIll it happen automatically when the DNS service switches over or will i need to re-config anything?

Note: The only reliable method of backing up and restoring a database is with shell access via telnet or ssh. Please see the instructions here:

This is because backing up with a PHP script like that in the Admin CP or phpMyAdmin can result in PHP timeouts errors and an incomplete backup file.
