I am about to upload to my web server..but am unsure I put the right

dbname when editing the config.php...please help!

The only person who can tell you this is your host, generally you will need to create a database, and a user with a password, and assign that user to the database.

If you are unsure of how to do this, I suggest contacting your hosting provider.

Yes I already did that but not sure I am using the right one...do I user the database or the FTP host?

Database:

for the dbname I put in the Database (numbers) given by my server,
is that right or wrong?...thanks

It has nothing to do with the FTP server addy etc my host gave me?

oh well screw it..here goes nothing..I cannot get an answer from my web host...

Yeap, thats a good chance... if you can't get an anwser from your webhost in a respectable ammount of time (it is rather early). You should considering looking for other hosts if the problems continue to occur over time.
