    Can't Log Out!

    Hello,

I can't log out of my site... I keep getting error 404s saying that I don't have sufficent privilages to view the page.

A link to some help on this please... I'm the admin and can't afford to have this kind of security issue.

Currently I need to delete cookies when I leave a computer.

    EDIT:050613 3.36:
This is an issue with all members of the site...

I've created a registered user for you to see the problem. It works fine on the forums until you attempt to log off.

The first thing I recommend is that you reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

Next, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Then change to this style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

This is going to kill a lot of hard work I've done to the site with hacks and what not.

Is there anyone who would be willing to maybe look into some of the code and let me know what is wrong? I'm not someone who believes a format and re-install is the correct solution. I feel that if I've made a mistake with the work I've done I would like for others to know so that they can avoid the situation I'm in.

I've edited the first post... It seems that the issue is board wide.

What version are you running? It seems to be 3.0.7, while this thread is in the 3.5.0 troubleshoot forum Confusion right there, hence Steve's response.

OK... Steve... or someone... Would you mind moving me?

I'll give it a try... I'm a n00b at this here. I am hacking around with something because I'm pretty good with figuring things out. (Like the handy dandy edit button 050613 3.40) but... can't seem to figure out how to keep the forums organized or read for that matter.

Is there some tutor program people have to help others out who want to do this as a hobby and not to make money off of it?

Like I said, it works fine in the default vBulletin style. Try reverting the navbar in the style in question or compare the log out code.

One more thing (excuse the double posts), it seems you have set the URL wrong for vBadvanced; Both the logout and the login code are incorrect, this is probably what you are speaking of. I don't have alot of experience with this hack, so I suggest you go over at vBulletin.org and ask for support in the appropriate hack thread or fix the URL yourself if you know how

I betcha that would be a good reason the two seem to not be connected:

Excuse mine as well... So... please explain how I would do this. If you would like to carry this one out on the vbadvanced forum please do so... or we can copy and paste our posts in both places.
