  • Installing on a new domain (test purposes)?

I have an owned license for NerdHelp.com, however, I'm going to hire some people to work on a PHP mod thing involving my forums.

Since they will need cPanel access, I don't want to give them access to nerdhelp.com for security reasons.

So my question is, can I set up vBulletin on another domain and lock out public access and use it for modification/test purposes so NerdHelp.com will remain secured?

If it wasn't for Cpanel access, I could just make a folder on NerdHelp, however, since I can't make a restricted cpnael account, this will have to do.

    Let me know,
    shaun

If you don't truust them with this access, then why would you trust them with your vB files? If they copy and distribute these it could put your license at risk.
