  • How do I get rid of the white bar around the text box?

    The most annoying thing about this query is that I've solved the problem before, but forgotten how to do it. The quick reply text box and the new thread/normal reply/edit thread text boxes all have white bars around them. Can I get rid of this? If not, how do I change the colour of it?

    I believe what you are looking for is this:

    clientscript/vbulletin_editor.css

    .. and this CSS definition that creates it:

    Code:
    /* the container for the editor */
    #vBulletin_editor
    {
    	border: 2px groove;
    }

        It's hard-coded into the vBulletin files... look at the path. It has nothing to do with the style manager .

            Then you've changed something because I just downloaded the vB3 package and right inside the clientscript folder there's a file called vbulletin_editor.css.

              Oops... you're right, I mistook it for vbulletin_editor.js ... sorry about that

                Umm.. I assume that I edit it on my compter then put it back onto my website using ftp, replacing the old file. All I wanted to do was to change the colour... but thanks anyway for the tip.

                  Yes, you can do that, too. But if you have multiple styles the tip I gave above will work for that.

                  widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
