Need the same editor as on this site

Can someone please tell me how to get the editor like on this site? I see many sites with it but I cannot make it work.

I have this option selected: "Enable Standard & WYSIWYG Controls"

But I still get an editor with the BB code and everything in it. It confuses members.

See this thread on how to enable the WYSIWYG editor. Note, however, that it only works on Mozilla, Firefox, and Internet explorer at the moment.

What happens if the user isnt using a supported browser? Are they shown a regular box?

Yeah, they're shown the standard editor (the one where when you click the button BB Code is inserted).
