If you use rss2, the first 100 or so characters of the post are included:

    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/external.php?type=rss2

    Not so with rss:

    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/external.php?type=rss

If I enable syndication, what can someone pull in to their site? Only thread titles? Or can they embed the content of posts in their site as well?

I believe this option was eliminated for most browsers because of significant security issues.

I don't this so, at least not without hacking.

    Limiting syndication access

My entire forum is public. I would like to embed some of the content in another site, however I don't want the syndicated content to be available to third party sites without my permission. (Basically, I only want to allow certain sites to be able to use my syndicated content.)

    Is this possible?
