  • Adsense Ad as Forum on Home Page

    I'd like to display a Google Adsense half banner as a forum on my home page. Like the way it has been done as the first forum on this community

    I tried to enter the Javascript code when creating a New Forum in the ACP but it broke my forum.

    How do I do it?

    Thanks!

      In template forumhome Find:

      HTML Code:
      $forumbits
      Above Add:
      HTML Code:
      <tr align="center">
              <td class="alt2"><img src="$stylevar[imgdir_statusicon]/forum_old.gif" alt="$vbphrase[contains_no_new_posts]" border="0" /></td>

              <td class="alt1Active" align="left">
      <!-- google code here -->

      Google Code Belongs Here

      <!-- /google code here -->
              </td>

              <td class="alt2" nowrap="nowrap">
                      <div class="smallfont" align="center">
                              <div style="clear:both">Never</div>
                      </div>
              </td>
              <td class="alt1">-</td>
              <td class="alt2">-</td>

      </tr>
      Hope this helps!

        Most Important Question here:
        I highly doubt if this is allowed by Google TOS ?

        Consider checking the same first, or you may get your domain rejected from google forever.

          Didn't see anything on the TOS saying this can't be done.

          widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
