Edited Sig ?

Ok I edited one of my members sigs and for some reason its not showing up in their post. I tested it again on another user and its not showing up either. Th sig is in their profile just not in their postbit. The postbit template has the correct code to display the sigs and everyone elses is showing. I have tried updating my counters with no avail. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you are using post cache then you might still be looking at old signatures. You can see if you are using Post Cache by looking at the following option:
AdminCP->vBulletin Options->Server Settings and Optimization Options ->Cached Posts Lifespan

If there is a positive number, you are using a post cache.

I do not have that enabled, however do you think its a good idea?


Looks like it takes up disk space but for only a preset amount of time.

If you don't have it enabled, then i don't know why a signature change don't show up in posts.

Was the signature showing correctly before the edit?

Yes it was. It quit showing after edit.

Can you edit one of the posts that you say is showing the signature and check that the poster has the Show your Signature option selected?

Sorry to ask an obvious question but you haven't changed the usergroup permission to disallow signatures have you?

Ok, the situation is that the box wasnt checked, however previous to the edit the sig was displayed in that post.
