  • Someone removed all my Threads!!

When I entered my forum today I found that all me threads are gone except the sticky ones

when I tried to see the Mods log in CP I found that one of the mods deleted or removed all the threads.. I know he didn't do it but maybe someone else logged with his name

    see: http://n9com.com/n9/05-2005/removed.JPG

how can he remove all my threads in 2 minutes?

Is there a way to restore them?

    please help asap

The only way to restore these is to restore a recent backup of the database.

Also, change this Mod's password. Clearly it has been compromised. Good luck!

        Hello king ze:

This is exactly what happened to me !

And I found that the problem was caused by : DELETE ORPHAN POSTS utility found in update counters !

I am having the problem of restoring the DB now, my host is asking me for a 50$ fee just to restore this backup (although I made that backup myself using vBulletin utility !!

any idea to solve this problem soon (I am closing my board now !)

        thanks in advance,,

Ask your host to restore the backup.

Guys, if you have no SSH or Telnet access there's a file around here somewhere called bigdump.php try using that to restore your database.
