My forum used to hide the location of a user's avatar. How can i enable this feature again? I don't know if it was changed by a hack i installed or if theres a setting that enables it.

What do you mean hide the location? Avatars are called from image.php... -
Avatar locations used to be displayed something like (when right clicking and selecting properties):
