Stickys and New Post Icons

You know when there is a new post, the default for V Bulletin is that V and it goes orange or whatever. How do you change that so its an image or graphic of your choice?

Also, there is also the default Sticky, how Do I change the sticky so its my own. I know The Sandman at the admin zone changed his stickys to just a bold red text. Looks nice.

I have made all my images for New Post, No new Posts, And Forum is Closed for Posting. Now I just need to know how to actually get them up there.

images are often store here:

/images/statusicons

Just replace with ur icons

More specifically, name your new pictures this:


forum_new.gif
forum_old.gif
forum_old_lock.gif

and upload to your ../images/statusicon directory.

As for sticky...

i change mine too, even add an animated gif to it.

Important

admincp >> Language & Phrase >> Search In Phrases
Search Sticky and locate this: sticky_thread_prefix

Then click the edit and add in the edit box, save and is done

You need to use an ftp program.

Ya, I have FTP'd them up already

Now i just need to know where to go so I can re write the images that are up there now,

As for ur icons, think the best for u will be to replace it with ftp instead of re-writing links...
