  • Forums Backup, phpmyadmin 2.6.1-pl3

I'm backing up my forums using phpmyadmin 2.6.1-pl3 and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I should check the boxes below. The vbulletin documentation doesn't explain these variables.

    Options for Data:

    Data - Checked
    Complete Inserts - Unsure
    Extended Inserts - Unsure
    Use Delayed Inserts - Unsure
    Use Ignore Inserts - Unsure
Use Hexadecimal For Binary Fields - Checked

Export type... Insert, Update, or Replace? Default is Insert.

Also, a few more boxes I'm unsure of are...

Enclose Export In A Transaction - Unsure
Disable Foreign Key Checks - Unsure

Add Custom Comment Into Header (\n splits lines) - This is a form field, blank by defualt. I don't think I should type anything here. But, I just want to be sure.

    Options for Structure:

    Add Into Comments:
    Creation/Update/Check Dates - Unsure

Add IF NOT EXISTS - Unsure

I would greatly appreciate information regarding these variables and if I should uncheck/check them so that if I ever need to apply my backup everything will function properly. Thanks in advance!

I already read that. It's not the correct version. Maybe someone should update it.

The only variables you need to check are the ones in the documentation.
