  • How do I make it safer?

I have changed my default panel names and .htaccess'd them. But as I'm paranoid, I want to chmod all the directories and files as well. So my question is that which folders and/or files should I chmod to 644, which should I chmod to 755 and which of them should I leave 777 to make it safer? Please help me.

I'd leave all directories at 755 and all files at 644. The only time to chmod a directory to 777 is if you are going to upload or write to it (attachments in files system, uploading smilies through the Admin CP, etc.)
