  • 1 style only for mods

    How do I make a style so that it's usable only for mods?
    Thanks

    There is no such option under the current system. Access to a style is all or nothing. Admins are an exception, but not moderators.

      what if I make some conditions for the "styles cascade menu" I have at the bottom of the forum?

        You would have to do the same for the User CP. And even then, your members could still use this style by directly invoking the styleid number in the URL.

          I don't think they are so smart to remember the style ID.
          So can u tell me the condition to let only who is moderator to use a style?
          Thanks

            I haven't yet used conditionals myself. Here is the online documentation for using template conditionals:

              I used this but it doesn't work

              Code:
               <if condition="can_moderate()">[url="$modcpdir/index.php?$session%5Bsessionurl%5D"]$vbphrase[mod][/url]
              <else />
                <if condition="$show['quickchooser']">

                      <td class="tfoot">
                          <select name="styleid" id="ressel" onchange="switch_styleid(this)">
                              <optgroup label="$vbphrase[quick_style_chooser]">
                                  $quickchooserbits
                              </optgroup>
                          </select>
                      </td>
                  </if>
              </if>

                That doesn't look right. Try something like this:

                Code:
                <if condition="$show['quickchooser'] AND can_moderate()">
                	<td class="tfoot">
                		<select name="styleid" id="ressel" onchange="switch_styleid(this)">
                		<optgroup label="$vbphrase[quick_style_chooser]">
                			$quickchooserbits
                		</optgroup>
                		</select>
                	</td>
                </if>
                I am not in a position to test this right now. If you have problems when I am back at my work station then I can test this.
