  • Ignore posts from a specific forum section

I know VBulletin has an option to ignore posts made by a specific user, I am wondering if there is a way to ignore posts made in a specific forum?

We have a section of our forum for spam, it was our way of keeping it off our regular boardspace and still allow our users to post silly crap. Now however, I have a member who has gotten into "congas" and other pyramid type schemes.

Many members of my board are offended by him blatantly advertising his programs in the spam section, but as he was quick to point out, it falls within our rules set for the section.

I would like to offer members the option of not having to see any posts from the spam section when they view new posts, without having to simply block the forum section from showing them at all.

Is there a feature to do this, or is this yet another thing I should be asking about at VBulletin.org?

Additionally, you can set that forum to not index any posts via the forum manager.
