Weird page display problem ?

Hi Guys

I have 2 VB forums - one old one currently running on 3.0.5 that is all fine and a new one on 3.0.7 that is soing something very odd.

When you click on a thread from the index page to view it - the screen seems to scroll to somewhere random (I cant work it out) sometimes halfway down, sometimes all the way to the last thread?

My 3.0.5 forum does exactly what I want - when you click on a thread it snaps to the top of the page - ie so I can see my header and banners ?

I should have said that if you select the relevant catagory and then the thread from that cats list all is fine.

If you select it from the index page and the latest post list it all gets weird

It's supposed to do that.

Going straight to a thread from the index page brings you to the absolute latest post in the thread, so it'll take you down to the latest post automatically.
