How to do a daily email notification for all members?

    Hi,

Is it possible to do a daily email notification for all members, with all new posts or threads of the day?

Or is this option only available for the moderators in the advanced configuration settings?

    Regards, Tobi

There is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

      This is huge

      Hi Steve & VB Crew,

A few weeks ago I purchased two VB licenses and set up the forums. They are working great, but this is one need that I did not even check to see if it was included in VB because I just assumed something basic like this would be here... My forums have a small base of users who will access and use the forum boards if they know new content has been added, but most will not just log on daily without the prompting.

Without a daily e-mail notification of all new posts, the effectivness of my forums will be signficantly curtailed.

I am willing to try the hack. I've no idea how to do that but if that's what I have to do, then I'll do it - even if it means paying someone else to set it up for me... Could you give me some futher guidance? I couldn't find anything at vbulletin.org...

      Thanks,

      Keith

p.s. Is this functionality built into VB 3.5

There is no function to do this. Depending on the number of email addresses though, you could edit the forum(s) through the Forum Manager and add their addresses to this section:
