      Okie I think you are using the installer for php right? What I am about to show you is experimental for your server on ISAPI. I have this setup and works on my test server

      1) You need to uninstall that php thru your Add Remove Programs applet

      2) Down load the PHP Windows Binaries Zip Package

      3) When your extract to - supposely c:\php

      -- after that you should have the structure like

      c:\php
      c:\php\ext or c:\php\extensions ( I use this )

      4) Rename your c:\php\php.ini to c:\php\phpold.ini

      5) Download my attached php.txt,
      Rename to php.ini
      and save to your c:\windows or c:\winnt

      6) Open your IIS

      7) Right click on Websites and select properties

      8) Click Configuration under Home Directory Tab

      9) You will be brought to Application Configuration - Click Add

      10) Do like the picture below

      11) Click Okie All

      12) Right click on Web Service Extension and select Add A New Service Extension

      13) Do like the picture

      14) Click ok all

      15) make sure you have all of the of the dlls under your c:\php\ext

      16) Reboot your IIS

      >> Start Run > CMD Enter > At the command prompt type in Net Stop IISAdmin

      Press Y to stop

      After it stop

      Type in Net Start w2svc

          Under ISAPI Filters Use PHP as the filter name, and supply a path to the php5isapi.dll.

            I did this with no change. in ISAPI filters I have a link to the .dll. It would not do a thing until I went to Home Directory and added the .dll in the configuration area where I had the php_cgi.exe at.

            Still displays everything perfect. Go to start install and takes my customer # and then to the page cannot be found screen. Same thing when I use the VB test. I wonder if i dont have mysql setup right?!?!

              Anyone have any more ideas? What needs to be done by me in the MYSQL area of things? I have MYSQL installed and a shell window open. I am about out of ideas and tech support has no ideas. I hate to think I threw 160$ out the window on this software?!?!

                'Tech support' asked for access to this machine so we could check things out. You decided not to provide this access. So I recommended that you post in the Server Configurattion forum for advice since this is a server issue.

                  Can you comment out the doc_root in php.ini? Also put a copy of myinfo.php under your forum directory

                    OK got that done. No change in the VB install software. Still asks for my customer # and bombs!

                    myinfo.php is moved into the forums directory and displays with a lot of info.

                      There is no telnet access or FTP access setup.

                      Most companys would not just give that kind of access out to anyone. Some companys have policys in place to not do that.

                      So I would recommend that you get a better support area in place for windows 2000 server users.

                        You could have provided a Remote Desktop Connection. Regardless, this really should be posted in the Server Configuration forum where I believe you'd get better results.

                        However here is something I just learned from one of the Devs. It's possible that POST data isn't being exposed. You can demo this with this HTML. Save it to a file, open it in a browser, and click the submit button. If the server is fine, you'll find the string "posttest" somewhere in the output.

                        HTML Code:
                        <form action="http://www.chargerfever.com/myinfo.php?get=test" method="post">
                        <input type="hidden" name="post" value="test" />
                        <input type="submit" value="submit" />
                        </form>
                        Also check this:
                        http://www.fastcgi.com/archives/fast...er/002434.html

                        This may be related to the same problem and they are using CGI/FastCGI for PHP.

                            This means the server is not processing POST data correctly, which is what that script is supposed to test. So far I have not been able to find how to fix this on the server level. Nor do the Developers know how to do this for a Windows system.

                            Did you follow the hints in the link to the URL where someone else had this same issue?
