Custom Profile

Is there a way using templates only to show certain custom profile fields for certain usergroups only or do you need custom code for that?

You can use this conditional in the MEMBERINFO template to do this:

<if condition="is_member_of($userinfo, USERGROUP_ID)">
profile field info here
</if>

Thanks. How about in the profile.php if you want only certain usergroups to be able to update their custom field, or even see it exists?
