I forgot to mention that I'm running vBadvanced as a portal to the forums. Does this have an effect on the registration?

No that's correct. The problem is that your server is not set up to automatically load index.php files. You need to contact your host and ask them to fix this.

After registering to use our fourms, the link to Forums in the vbulliten message points to wrong file.

It points to http://www.chicagoareagolf.com/forums

when it should point to http://www.chicagoareagolf.com/forums/index.php

How do I change the link?
